Google Sitemap XML Creation Service
Note: This service is intended for site/business owners that are interested in having a Sitemap file created for their web site, however they do not have the interest in doing it themselves. Also, I am slightly picky about which clients I will work with - basically if you have something that looks like a link-list affiliate type site I tend not to respond.
If you are looking for self-help information, then I recommend looking through the Related Links Section for resources that will help you either create your sitemap file by hand, or with software. There are quite a few excellent programs available.

Note 1: Your web server will not normally return a last-modified header for Dynamic pages (.php, .asp, etc). In this case I either use the current date/time or I can set it to a date/time you specify.
Note 2: I can accurately predict which pages of your web site will show up in search results, relative to all other pages of your web site. However, Please note I cannot mathematically predict IF your site will show up at all, what position your site will appear, or how well your site will rank. 1) It is my opinion that "usually" pages that are less likely to be indexed should be marked with greater priority. 2) It is currently unknown whether or not (or how) Google uses the priority information specified in the sitemap XML file.
I developed software that runs on my server and spiders your entire web site (on your server). It determines all the links that make up your web site and performs some calculations to help me determine appropriate priority values for each page. Of course, the computed data is only a guide, and there are some common sense decisions to make to produce good priority and refresh values.
My software verifies that each link is valid and reports links to pages that are missing or generate errors. It also determines the last time that the file was modified based on the information disclosed by the web server that hosts the web site.
Optionally, the Sitemap XML file may include links to other file formats besides HTML documents, such as JPEG images, PDF and Word Documents, and Flash movies.

After I determine the appropriate values my software will automatically generate the sitemap.xml.gz archive in compressed format, to save bandwidth. The software also automatically validates the output sitemap.xml file against the requirements specified in the XSD schema. So I know I have a valid file before notifying Google that the file is ready for upload to their server.
The Sitemap XML file is used by Google's WWW Spiders to make decisions about what to index and when to index your web site. *Please note that Google's Sitemap Feature is currently in Beta and there is no confirmation that using the Sitemap XML file will improve your search engine performance or placement within results. However, I personally feel that this is the way of the future and it is important to have your web site ready to compete.
